My goal as an editor is to help writers identify both, providing honest, actionable feedback that strengthens the story while preserving your unique voice.
I’ve always been drawn to stories that draw you in, books that ask thought-provoking questions, and messages that stay with you long after the final page.
I pursued professional writing and editing training and stepped into the world of publishing, where I gained hands-on experience working with manuscripts from both creative and industry perspectives. Along the way, I’ve worked in literary and editorial environments that have given me a close view of how stories move from draft to publication.
I’ve seen what makes a manuscript stand out, what tends to hold stories back, and how thoughtful revision can completely transform a piece of work. Now, I specialize in helping writers see their manuscripts clearly again.
When you’ve been close to a story for a long time, it’s easy to lose perspective. My role is to step in with honest, detailed feedback that helps you understand not just what needs work, but how to move forward with confidence.
Outside of my work supporting authors and their stories, you'll often find me writing my own half-baked and hope-filled stories, keeping up a steady reading diet of 200 books a year, jamming to Hans Zimmer while I clean my house, or attempting to beat my siblings at Mario Kart 8 (I've got more experience with editing your book than online racing, it would seem).
I believe every manuscript begins with something worth saying. My role as an editor isn't to overwrite that vision, but rather to help bring it into sharper focus so it can be fully realized on the page. I approach every project with these three core values.
Your reader should never feel lost in the narrative. When confusion appears, it usually means there's roomto strengthen structure, motivation, or pacing.
Whether a manuscript is meant to inspire, entertain, or uplift, it should feel alive to the reader. I focus on helping writers strengthen their story's emotional impact and narrative engagement so the story lands the way it was intended.
Every writer has a distinct style and rhythm. My goal is never to replace that voice, but to refine it so it carries more effectively across the page.
The secret to a beautiful story that readers will dig is only an editorial letter away.
