Cate VanNostrand is a college senior by day, freelance editor, and writer by night. She's a native of the Mid-South with a passion for the written word and a belief in the endless benefits of dark chocolate. Outside of her work as a double major in English and History and her role as developmental and line editor, Cate has too many hobbies. Right now she spends most of her free time watching baseball with her dad (Go Mets!), tracking down her ancestors with her genealogically-minded mom, blogging about her own half-edited novels on her blog, Southern Scribblings, and attempting to successfully bake a batch of melt-in-your-mouth chocolate chip cookies (no luck so far).
